Product Description
An amazing palm from the rainforests of New Guinea that quickly develops into a neat cluster of slender stems to about 8 m (27 ft.) tall that hold crowns of large entire or slightly pinnate leaves. It does well in a protected spot in the tropical or warm subtropical garden, where it will take some cool but probably no frost. This palm was originally described as Calyptrocalyx schultzianus but is now believed to belong into Calyptrocalyx elegans. It was also widely traded as Calyptrocalyx sp. (Sanumb). (RPS.com)
